This article outlines how a patient or caregiver (registrant) can login to the Ohio Medical Marijuana Registry, change the account password, and also addresses login errors.

After logging into the OHMM Registry, you are allowed to stay logged in without any activity for twenty minutes. After twenty minutes of no activity, you will receive a message stating that you will be logged out within one minute if you do not choose to extend your session. |
Logging into the OH Medical Marijuana Registry
In order to log into the Ohio Medical Marijuana Registry, you must have completed the registration process as outlined in the article, How to Activate Medical Marijuana Registry Account and Card. If this is your first time accessing the Medical Marijuana Registry, you may need to reset your password, please see the Forgot Password section of this article for password reset instructions.
- Navigate to https://www.ohiomedicalmarijuanaregistry.com/.
- Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields and click "Sign in".
- If you need assistance with locating your account for the Medical Marijuana Registry please create a request for support and an agent will assist you with locating your account and making any necessary corrections.
Expired Password

Medical Marijuana Registry passwords expire every 90 days. |
Before your password expires, you will receive an email stating that your password will expire soon. You can click on the "reset your password" link and proceed to the Forgot Password section.
If your password is expired and you attempt to login to the Medical Marijuana Registry, you will receive a message stating "Your password is expired. Please renew your password."
- On the Change Password screen, enter your current (expired) password into the "Current password" field.
- Create your new password according to the following requirements:
- Minimum of eight characters
- At least one upper case letter
- At least one lower case letter
- At least one special character (E.g. ! @ # $ % )
- Maximum of 255 characters
- Cannot reuse one of the previous five account passwords
- Enter your new password in the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields.
- Click "Change my password"
Forgot Password
If you have forgotten your password you can reset it by following these instructions.
- navigate to https://www.ohiomedicalmarijuanaregistry.com/

click on "Reset Password".
- You will be directed to the "Forgot Your Password?" page

Enter the email address associated with your Medical Marijuana Registry account into the "Email field".
- Click on "Send me reset password instructions".

You will see a message indicating, "Email will be sent if you have an account".

The "Ohio Medical Marijuana Reset password Instructions" email should arrive in your inbox.
- If you do not see the password reset instruction email in your inbox please be sure to check your junk and spam folders.
- If you are unable to find the email in alternate folder add "no-reply-pmpaware@globalnotifications.com" to your email contacts list and restart the password process over from step one of this section. Please submit a support request if you have any questions regarding this process.
- If you are still unable to locate the password reset email after adding the no-reply email to your contact list, reach out to the Medical Marijuana Administrator by email at MMCPRegistry@com.ohio.gov.
- Once you have located the email, click on "Change my password" within the email body.

You will be directed to the Ohio Medical Marijuana Registry's Change Password page.
- Your password must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of eight characters
- At least one upper case letter
- At least one lower case letter
- At least one special character (E.g. ! @ # $ % )
- Maximum of 255 characters
- Cannot reuse one of the previous five account passwords
- Input your password in the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields,
- Click "Change my password".
- The screen will refresh and the password fields will become blank if one of the following actions occurs:
- You attempt to use one of your past five passwords
- Your password does not meet the requirements listed above
- a Mismatch occurs between the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields
- If this happens, please attempt to enter your desired password again, or choose a password that meets the password requirements.
- The screen will refresh and the password fields will become blank if one of the following actions occurs:

When your password reset is successful you will be redirected to the Home page of the Ohio Medical Marijuana Registry and a message will appear indicating, "Your password has been changed successfully. You are now signed in."
Invalid Email or Password Error
When attempting to login to the Ohio Medical Marijuana Registry, you may receive an error message that states "Invalid Email or Password". This error could occur if your email address is not registered with the system, an error was made in the email address entered in the "Email" field, or if the password entered into the "Password" field is incorrect.
- If you suspect that the email address used to register you account is incorrect, please reach out to your physician to verify the email address used, and make any necessary corrections.
- Once you have verified that you are typing in the correct email address, attempt to login again by retyping your password into the "Password field" and click "Sign in"
- If you are still unable to login, please proceed to the Forgot Password section within this article.
Locked Out
After three failed login attempts, you will receive a message stating "Your account has been locked for 10 minutes after 3 failed login attempts", and your account will be locked for ten minutes
- When a lock out event occurs, you must wait the full ten minutes before you are able to reset your password.
- Once the ten minute lock out period is over, please reset your password as outlined in the Forgot Password section of this article.
Password Token is Invalid
If you reset your password but receive an error message stating "Password Token is Invalid" You can perform the following troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure that you are using one of the following supported browsers: Internet Explorer 11, FireFox, Google Chrome, or Safari.
- Clear your browsers cache and cookies and attempt a password reset from a new window.
- Try performing the password reset from a different browser.
- If you take these steps and are still unable to perform a password reset, submit a request for support and include the following information:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
